So what are you up to today?

Hi, all!  I have only just got around to looking at the results of the class survey (not the T4S one) you completed on Monday morning.  I will share the results with you at next week's class but in the meantime, given that it seems to be proving a bit difficult for you to leave comments on the blog, I am going to be looking over the weekend at maybe setting something up on Facebook (I know a bit about Facebook) or Twitter (I know nothing about Twitter!) as an alternative.  Which would you prefer/would be easiest for you to use?  Let me know and then watch this space!

Morning, everyone!  I know some of you are still having difficulty joining the blog, but hopefully we will get this sorted out on Monday morning.  In the meantime, have a good weekend!

Welcome, Summer!  Well done for joining the blog -  a couple of others have been having a bit of difficulty with that and even my "test" membership seems to be playing tricks - or is it just me?

Now don't forget to let me know what you thought about the Titanic Museum...

Monday 5 November 2012

Hi, again!

I hope you all enjoyed your visit to the Titanic Museum this morning - I loved the fact that we actually got to go on the shipyard tour, as this part was closed when I went to the museum with my family!   We really should have got back on it and gone round for a second time, when we had the chance...  I will try and get some photos uploaded.

As this visit was a sort of "experiment" (and you were the guinea pigs - in the nicest possible way!), I would be interested in your thoughts on the visit.  Can each of you post and let me know your views - what you liked, was there anything you didn't like, would you think it would be somewhere you would recommend to your friends?  Remember, this blog is just for our class, so you can be honest (but please don't swear or I will have to edit you...)

PS If you have any suggestions on the content or layout of the blog page, let me know.

Sunday 4 November 2012

Welcome to our new class blog!  Most of you know that I am currently studying for my PGCE (FE) - Postgraduate Certificate in Education (and the FE stands for Further Education) - at the University of Ulster at Jordanstown.  As part of my course, I need to look at how I can improve my teaching - and I need your help for this bit!  So, in the coming weeks, I will be asking you to do a few things for me - watch this space!

Tomorrow, we will be visiting the Titanic Museum in Belfast.  I look forward to seeing you all there, bright and early!
